Royal Air Maroc

Royal Air Maroc is the flag carrier of Morocco, founded in 1957 shortly after Moroccan independence through the merger of earlier French-era airline operations, and headquartered in Casablanca with its principal hub at Mohammed V International Airport. The carrier is majority owned by the Moroccan state and serves as the country's primary gateway airline, connecting Morocco to Europe, the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa and, with a growing network, North America. Royal Air Maroc has positioned Casablanca as a connecting hub between Europe and West Africa in particular, and the airline has pursued fleet renewal and network expansion as part of Morocco's broader push to grow its tourism and air transport sectors.
