Northern Star Resources

Northern Star Resources is an Australian gold mining company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, with operations in Western Australia and Alaska. It was founded in December 2003 to explore the East Kimberley region of Western Australia and nearly collapsed during the global financial crisis before recapitalizing under CEO Bill Beament from 2007, growing through the 2010 purchase of the Paulsens gold mine and further acquisitions including the Jundee gold mine by 2014. It later acquired a 50 percent stake in the Super Pit and merged with Saracen Mineral Holdings in 2021, and by 2026 had become Australia's largest listed gold producer.
