News Corp is an American mass media and publishing company headquartered in New York City, formed in 2013 when the original News Corporation split its publishing operations from its film and television assets (the latter becoming 21st Century Fox). It publishes newspapers including The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post through Dow Jones and Company, and The Times and The Sun in the United Kingdom through News UK, and also owns the book publisher HarperCollins and the real-estate listings company REA Group. Rupert Murdoch chairs the company.
