NI, formerly the National Instruments Corporation, is an American multinational company headquartered in Austin, Texas. It is the producer of automated test equipment, semiconductor production equipment and virtual instrumentation software. After its acquisition by Emerson Electric in October 2023, NI has operated as the test and measurement business unit of Emerson. In 2022 NI sold products to more than 35,000 companies worldwide, generating 1.66 billion United States dollars in revenue.
