Mythos Beer

Mythos is a Greek beer brand and brewing operation introduced in 1997 by what was then the Boutari Group's Northern Greece Brewery, itself formed from Henninger Hellas, which Boutari had acquired in 1992 and renamed in 1994. Scottish and Newcastle became majority shareholders in 2004, Carlsberg Group acquired the operation in 2008, and since a 2015 merger the beer has been produced by Olympic Brewery, a Carlsberg subsidiary based in Greece. Mythos became the company's flagship product by 2001, prompting the brewery's eventual renaming, and the beer is distributed broadly across Greece and exported to multiple European countries as well as the United States, Canada, Panama, Taiwan, Israel and Australia.
