Linx AB was a railway company that operated inter-Scandinavian passenger trains between 2001 and 2004, established as a joint venture between the Norwegian State Railways and the Swedish state-owned SJ. Based in Gothenburg, it ran routes from Oslo to Stockholm and from Oslo via Gothenburg to Copenhagen up to ten times a day, using mainly X2 electric multiple units. Slow speeds on curvy Norwegian track and competition from low-cost airlines caused the company to lose money, and its operations were taken over by NSB and SJ.
