Linktree is an Australian freemium service that provides a landing page collecting a person or company associated links from social media, headquartered in Melbourne. It was developed by Alex Zaccaria, Anthony Zaccaria and Nick Humphreys, and founded in 2016. The idea came from the developers annoyance that many social media platforms rarely allow more than one hyperlink in a profile, so a single page lists all the destinations instead. In 2022 Linktree became a unicorn after a funding round of 152 million dollars that valued it at 1.7 billion dollars.
