Les Brasseurs du Nord is a Canadian brewery founded in 1987 by three Universite du Quebec a Montreal students, Laura Urtnowski and brothers Bernard and Jean Morin, and headquartered in Blainville, Quebec, north of Montreal. It brews ale-type beers sold exclusively in Quebec under the Boreale label, accounting for just over one percent of the province's total beer sales, with production exceeding 100,000 hectoliters annually. Its products include Boreale Rousse, introduced in 1988 as the first amber-style beer in Quebec, along with Boreale Blonde, Cuivree, Noire, Doree, Blanche and IPA.
