Legoland Shanghai is a LEGO-themed resort in the Jinshan district of Shanghai, China, developed as a joint venture among Shanghai Jinshan Urban Investment Group, Merlin Entertainments, Kirkbi Invest A/S and CMC Inc. Operated by the British theme park company Merlin Entertainments, it opened on July 5, 2025, as the eleventh Legoland park worldwide and the first in mainland China. The resort cost roughly 3.6 billion RMB to build, spans about 318,000 square meters, and combines a theme park with more than 75 attractions across eight themed areas alongside a 250 room hotel decorated with LEGO brick models, making it the largest Legoland park in the world.
