Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited, known as KRIBHCO, is a national level multistate cooperative society established by the Government of India on April 17, 1980, to build India's first large scale gas based fertilizer complex producing ammonia and urea. It operates under India's Ministry of Cooperation and has since diversified into power generation, logistics, agribusiness, green energy, bio fertilizers and hybrid seed marketing through subsidiaries and joint ventures. In fiscal year 2023-24 the cooperative reported a net income of about 16,598 crore rupees and ranked 382nd on the Fortune India list of the country's largest corporations.
