Jollibee Foods Corporation is a Philippine multinational restaurant company founded in 1978 by Tony Tan Caktiong, headquartered in Pasig, Metro Manila, and known for successfully competing against McDonald's Philippine entry in 1981 by tailoring its menu to Filipino tastes. Its flagship Jollibee fast food chain is joined under the same corporate umbrella by brands including Chowking, Greenwich Pizza, Red Ribbon Bakeshop, Mang Inasal and the Philippine franchise of Burger King, plus international acquisitions such as Smashburger and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. As of 2024 the group operated nearly 9,800 restaurants worldwide with revenue of about 270 billion Philippine pesos.
