Joh. C. Tecklenborg was a German shipbuilding company on the river Geeste in Bremerhaven, founded in 1841 and finally closed in 1928. About 440 ships of different types were built at the yard, including many famous tall sailing ships. Among them was the five-masted full-rigged ship Preussen, built at the Tecklenborg shipyard in Geestemuende, which is recorded in this atlas as a vehicle. The record lets the atlas place that ship with the yard that built it.
