Imprenta y fundicion tipografica Richard Gans was a Spanish type foundry in business from 1888 to 1975. It was founded in 1888 by Richard Gans, the son of a doctor from Karlsbad, Austria, who had emigrated to Spain in 1874. After Gans died in 1925, the foundry was led by Mauricio Wiesenthal until 1936, and during the 1920s and 1930s its typefaces were sold in the United States by Continental Type Founders.
