H&M is a Swedish multinational clothing retailer headquartered in Stockholm, built on a fast-fashion business model selling apparel, accessories and homeware. Founded by Erling Persson in 1947 under the name Hennes, it operates thousands of stores across dozens of countries and is the second-largest international clothing retailer in the world after Inditex.
