Guy Motors was a Wolverhampton, England based vehicle manufacturer that produced buses, cars, trolleybuses and trucks from 1914 until 1982. Sydney Guy registered the company on 30 May 1914, the day he left his post as works manager at Sunbeam, and had a lightweight pressed steel frame 30 cwt lorry in production by September 1914. During the First World War it came under the Ministry of Munitions and also made aircraft engines and depth charge fuses. In 1919 it built Britain first V8 engine in a luxury car, and the firm went on to build the Arab bus chassis and, in 1959, the Wulfrunian double-decker bus.
