The Grand Rapids and Indiana Railroad was a transportation company chartered on January 18, 1854, that at its peak provided passenger and freight rail service between Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Straits of Mackinac in Michigan over standard gauge track across Michigan and Indiana. It operated from 1854 until 1953, with the Pennsylvania Railroad becoming its successor after acquiring the company in 1918.
