Forst is an Italian brewing company founded in 1857 by Johann Wallnofer and Franz Tappeiner, based in the village of Forst, a subdivision of Algund in South Tyrol. Owned by Forst AG, it produces about 700,000 hectoliters of beer annually for the domestic Italian market, also makes mineral water and other non-alcoholic drinks through its Kaiserwasser subsidiary, and expanded in 1991 by acquiring the Menabrea brewery in Piedmont.
