DSB, short for Danske Statsbaner, is the largest train operating company in Denmark and in Scandinavia as a whole, running passenger services across most of the Danish rail network from a base centered on Copenhagen. It also operates the S-train commuter rail system serving Copenhagen and its surrounding suburbs, and between 2010 and 2017 it additionally ran train operations in Sweden; the company does not handle freight transport or railway infrastructure maintenance.
