Digital Realty Trust, Inc. is an American real estate investment trust headquartered in Austin, Texas, founded in 2004 to own and operate data centers, the specialized facilities that house the servers and networking equipment underlying much of the internet and enterprise computing. It grew through acquisitions including Interxion and Teraco into one of the largest data center providers in the world, leasing capacity to technology companies, cloud providers and enterprises globally.
