Crown Castle Inc. is an American real estate investment trust headquartered in Houston, founded in 1994, that owns, operates and leases shared wireless communications infrastructure, primarily cell towers along with fiber networks and small-cell installations. It is one of the largest owners of communications towers in the United States, leasing space on its structures to wireless carriers such as AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile US, alongside competitors American Tower and SBA Communications in that same real estate niche.
