Credit Agricole Group, sometimes called La banque verte, is a French international banking group and the world's largest cooperative financial institution. It consists of a network of Credit Agricole local banks, 39 Credit Agricole regional banks and a central institute, Credit Agricole S.A., which is listed on Euronext Paris and is part of the CAC 40 index. The group's subsidiaries include LCL, an Italian retail network and a corporate and investment banking unit, and it is considered a systemically important bank by the Financial Stability Board.
