Congo Airways S.A. is the state owned flag carrier airline of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. With a paid up capital of 90 million United States dollars, it began operations on 20 October 2015. As of June 2026, Congo Airways, like every other airline holding an Air Operator's Certificate issued in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is banned from flying into the European Union.
