Clarks is a British footwear company founded in 1825 by brothers Cyrus and James Clark in the village of Street, Somerset, England, making it one of the oldest continuously operating shoe manufacturers in the world. Long family-controlled, it is best known for casual and comfort-focused styles such as the Desert Boot and the Wallabee, and it sells shoes internationally through its own retail stores and wholesale partners.
