China Baowu Steel Group Corp., Ltd., commonly known as Baowu, is a Chinese state owned iron and steel company headquartered in the Baosteel Tower in Pudong, Shanghai. The company was formed in 2016 when Baosteel Group absorbed its smaller state owned peer, Wuhan Iron and Steel Corporation, and it is the largest steel producer in the world by output.
