Cesu Alus is a beverage manufacturer headquartered in Cesis, Latvia, tracing its origins to 1590, when brewing activities were first documented at Cesis Castle, making it the oldest brewery in the Baltic and Nordic countries. Formally established as a modern enterprise in 1995 and now owned by the Finnish parent company Olvi, it produces beer, cider, kvass, energy drinks and non-alcoholic beverages and accounted for approximately 64 percent of Latvia's national beer production as of 2018.
