Carib Brewery

Carib Brewery Limited is a beverage producer headquartered in Trinidad and Tobago, owned by the ANSA McAL Group of Companies, with facilities in Trinidad, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, and Cape Canaveral, Florida. Its roots trace to 1947, when the Caribbean Development Company Limited was founded to diversify Trinidad's economy, introducing Carib lager in 1950 as the country's first locally produced beer before splitting into Carib Brewery Ltd. and Carib Glassworks Ltd. in 1955; the company now produces the Carib and Stag lager brands along with shandies, malt beers and ciders, and in late 2024 entered a joint venture with Indian distillery Globus Spirits to produce for the Indian market.
