Buffalo Wild Wings is an American casual dining restaurant and sports bar chain specializing in chicken wings, founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1982 by James Disbrow and Scott Lowery under the original name Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck, a reference to a beef sandwich served alongside the wings. Headquartered in Sandy Springs, Georgia, the chain operates more than 1,300 locations across the United States plus international markets including India, Mexico and the Philippines, and it has been owned by Inspire Brands since 2018.
