Brockhouse was a Danish microbrewery in Hillerod, founded in 1995 by brewer Allan Poulsen. It reached a peak production capacity of 500,000 litres a year and specialised in beers inspired by Danish brewing history, including the Esrum Abbey Ale, released in 2004 and inspired by beer once brewed at Denmark Esrum Abbey. The brewery ran into financial difficulty during the 2008 financial crisis and filed for bankruptcy in February 2009.
