The Boynton Bicycle Railroad was a monorail built in southern Brooklyn, in what is now New York City. It ran on a single load-bearing rail at ground level, stabilized by a wooden overhead rail engaged by a pair of horizontally opposed wheels, and it operated for only two years, from 1889 to 1890.
