Boston Properties, Inc. is an American real estate investment trust headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, founded in 1970 by developer Mortimer Zuckerman and Edward Linde. It became one of the largest owners, managers and developers of premier office properties in the United States, concentrating its portfolio in major coastal gateway markets including Boston, New York, Washington D.C. and San Francisco.
