Barbeques Galore

Barbeques Galore was an Australian specialist retailer of barbecue grills, accessories and outdoor furniture, founded in Sydney in 1976 by Max Mason, which later expanded to the United States with a store in Santa Fe Springs, California in 1980. The retailer carried major brands including Ziegler and Brown, Kamado Joe, Prosmoke, Traeger, Beefeater and Saxon, selling gas and solid fuel barbecues alongside outdoor furniture and heating products, and at the time of its 2026 collapse it operated about 68 company-owned stores and 27 franchises across Australia. The company entered receivership and was subsequently liquidated, and on August 3, 2026, ACOM International acquired its intellectual property and wholesale operations.
