AutoZone, Inc. is an American retailer of automotive replacement parts and accessories headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, founded in 1979 in Forrest City, Arkansas, originally opened as "Auto Shack" before being renamed AutoZone. It operates a large chain of stores across the United States, Mexico and Brazil selling parts, tools and accessories to both do-it-yourself customers and professional repair shops.
