Aperam South America, formerly known as Acesita and later ArcelorMittal Timóteo, is a specialty steel manufacturer and iron ore mining operator headquartered in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. It holds roughly 90 percent of the Brazilian stainless steel market and is the only stainless steel producer in Latin America, with its main plant in Timóteo capable of producing 900,000 tons annually.
