Alfa Brouwerij is a family owned independent brewery in Schinnen, in the Dutch province of Limburg, founded in 1870 by Joseph Meens and now owned by Henry Meens. It produces about 120,000 hectolitres of beer a year, including Oude Bruin, pilsners and bock beers, drawing on a certified underground spring that is one of only ten such certified sources in the Netherlands and the only one used for brewing. It is one of the few independent breweries remaining in Limburg.
