Vince Commisso

Vince Commisso is a producer and media executive who co-founded 9 Story Entertainment, now 9 Story Media Group, in September 2002 together with Steven Jarosz. A former producer at Nelvana, he founded the company so that he would be able to work on the children's series Peep and the Big Wide World. The company renamed itself 9 Story Media Group in October 2014 and later bought the Dublin animation studio Brown Bag Films, the Colorforms brand and Portfolio Entertainment. When Portfolio's chief executive Lisa Olfman joined as an executive producer in 2024, she was to report to Commisso. In 2022 he and John Galway won the Board of Directors Tribute Award of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television at the 10th Canadian Screen Awards. He is listed in the company infobox as its president and chief executive.
