Bruce Tuckman (24 November 1938 to 13 March 2016) was an American psychologist and educational researcher best known for his 1965 theory of group development describing four stages, forming, storming, norming and performing. He also created the Tuckman Procrastination Scale in 1991 and served as a professor of educational psychology at Ohio State University, where he established the Walter E. Dennis Learning Center.
