Huawei U.S. Entity List Sanctions

The U.S. Department of Commerce added Huawei, the Chinese telecommunications equipment giant founded by Ren Zhengfei, to its export-control Entity List in May 2019, citing national security concerns and barring American companies from supplying it with technology without a special license.
