Production and Fulfillment Models

Named models describing how a good is produced or fulfilled in response to demand rather than how it is ultimately sold, including making a product only after it is ordered, tailoring a mass-produced item to an individual buyer, printing or manufacturing an item on demand, and manufacturing goods under another company's brand. Belongs here: any model whose defining act is a distinctive method of production, customization or fulfillment. Does not belong here: a model defined by the sales channel used once the good exists, grouped under Direct Sales and Distribution Channels.
