Links a product or service to the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) sector entity that its principal business activity falls under. GICS is the industry taxonomy developed in 1999 by MSCI and Standard & Poor's, organizing companies and their products and services into eleven sectors, twenty five industry groups, seventy four industries and one hundred sixty three sub-industries. A future pass may also use this same relation type to link a company or an industry entity to its own GICS sector, once that later pilot is scoped and briefed; this relation type is not restricted to product-service sources by its own definition, only by what this pilot actually wrote.
