Wonder Bread

Wonder Bread is an American brand of sliced bread established in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1921 by the Taggart Baking Company, and one of the first brands to sell sliced bread nationwide by 1930; it debuted on May 21, 1921 and is now owned by Flowers Foods in the United States. The brand's name came from vice president Elmer Cline, who was inspired by the sight of hundreds of colorful balloons at the International Balloon Race held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, an image that became the red, yellow and blue balloons on the product's logo.
