Verizon Fios is a bundled fiber-optic internet, telephone, and television service operated by Verizon Communications in the United States. It launched on September 22, 2005 in Keller, Texas with about 9,000 customers, and today offers three main products, Fios Internet, Fios TV, and Fios Digital Voice, a voice-over-IP calling service, delivered over a fiber-optic network using QAM technology to carry television signals to set-top boxes over existing home coaxial wiring.
