Twitch is an American live video streaming service best known for broadcasts of video game play and esports competitions, alongside music, creative content and general in real life streams. It is operated by Twitch Interactive, a subsidiary of Amazon, and was introduced in June 2011 as a spin off of the general interest streaming platform Justin.tv.
