Maltesers is a British confectionery product manufactured by Mars Inc, first launched in 1937, consisting of a spheroid malted milk centre coated in milk chocolate and marketed under the tagline The lighter way to enjoy chocolate. It is sold worldwide in a range of packaging formats, from small fun size bags to larger cardboard boxes, tubes and plastic buckets, and it also appears as one of the chocolates included in Mars's Revels assortment and as a medium sized piece in Celebrations boxes.
