Kief

Kief is the accumulated mass of detached cannabis trichomes, gathered by sifting cannabis flowers through a fine mesh screen. Like other cannabis concentrates it carries a much higher concentration of THC and other psychoactive cannabinoids than the plant material it is collected from, and it is typically sprinkled onto cannabis for added potency or pressed into hashish for storage and later smoking or vaporizing. In Morocco the same word instead names a traditional smoking mixture of finely chopped cannabis and local tobacco smoked in a long pipe; the word itself comes from Arabic and means joy or pleasure.
