Dumle

Dumle is a Swedish brand of chocolate covered toffee first made in 1945 by Mazetti, a chocolate and confectionery producer in Malmo, Sweden, though the product did not carry the Dumle name until 1960, possibly taken from a Swedish children's television program. The Finnish company Fazer acquired the brand in 1975, and in 1987 introduced a softer toffee center wrapped as Dumle original, replacing the earlier hard toffee lollipop with a chocolate coating. Dumle is now made in Vantaa, Finland, and the range has grown to include flavors such as salty licorice, caramel, mango orange, salted caramel and gingerbread as well as related chocolate and ice cream products.
