Alex Wilcox is an American airline executive and businessman. He co-founded JetSuiteX, since renamed JSX, and is the chief executive officer of JSX. Earlier in his career he was a founding executive of JetBlue Airways and served as president and chief operating officer of Kingfisher Airlines until 2006. He began in customer service at Virgin Atlantic Airways, where he helped David Tait, who headed US Virgin Atlantic. According to the JSX article, he has said the carrier was created in response to declining short-haul traffic and rising short-haul fares in the United States, which he attributes in part to long airport wait times.
