Samsung Electronics is a South Korean multinational electronics and consumer appliance corporation founded in 1969 and headquartered in Suwon, South Korea. It is the flagship company of the Samsung chaebol, accounting for the large majority of the group's revenue, and has been the largest vendor of smartphones since 2012 and the largest television manufacturer since 2006, best known for its Galaxy line of mobile devices.
