Iron Mountain Incorporated

Iron Mountain Incorporated is an American records management, information storage and data center company headquartered in Boston, founded in 1951 when its predecessor began storing business records inside a former iron ore mine in New York State, which gave the company its name. It grew into a major provider of physical document storage, digital records management and, increasingly, data center facilities, and converted to a real estate investment trust structure in 2014 to reflect the property-heavy nature of its storage business.
