Brookfield Property Partners L.P. was a global commercial real estate company established in 2013 when the Canadian asset manager Brookfield Asset Management spun off its commercial property operations into a separately listed partnership. It owned and operated a large global portfolio of office and retail real estate, including a majority stake in the American mall operator General Growth Properties, until Brookfield Asset Management took the partnership fully private again in 2021.
