Sunway Berhad

Sunway Group, known formally as Sunway Berhad, is a Malaysian conglomerate headquartered at Sunway City, Subang Jaya, Selangor, founded in 1974 by Jeffrey Cheah. Its core operations centre on property development and construction, with a portfolio of residential, commercial, retail, leisure and healthcare properties spanning more than 50 locations across Asia, including Malaysia, China, Singapore, Cambodia and Vietnam. The company is publicly traded on Bursa Malaysia under ticker 5211, reported revenue of 5.41 billion Malaysian ringgit in 2018 with more than 16,000 employees, and in early 2026 listed its healthcare subsidiary Sunway Healthcare Holdings Bhd on Bursa Malaysia in what was reported as Malaysia's largest IPO in nine years.
